1947 Mercury 79M Convertible

This '47 Mercury Convertible is absolutely stunning. The deep black paint is almost flawless, as is the chrome, stainless and polished trim. The paint and body was done by HotRod's by Dean, here in Phoenix AZ. Powered by a 406 horsepower, 400 Chevy small block that was bored .30 over. In 2009 the transmission was upgraded to a TH350. New exhaust was added in 2015 and has a great hotrod sound. A new aluminum radiator, new brake booster and new battery were done in 2014. The Mercury rides much nicer as it sits on QA1 adjustable coil-overs on all 4 corners. New tie rod ends were added the same time as the new coil-overs. Baer disc brakes are tucked behind the 18 and 20 inch American Torque wheels, wrapped in new Nitto tires. Vintage Air was added for the hot summer days and all of the vents were nicely tucked below the dash and looks really clean. All of the custom Red leather upholstery is in great condition and the 1937 Lincoln steering wheel is a very nice, custom touch. It's an art piece all on it's own. The floorboards, trunk and door panels were all covered in Dynamat, which lies hidden under the newer black carpet. The Hartz Cloth top and boot look brand new and the power top works as it should. Also all of the window gears have been replaced and work flawlessly. Pictures do not do this car justice, it's an unbelievable car with tons of upgrades. You must come see this one in person!!
