1968 Ford Mustang

This 1968 Mustang has been owned by the same Arizona family since purchased new, here in Scottsdale AZ. The son, who owns the Mustang now, just completed a nut and bolt restoration on the car. While adding some of the GT options and upgrades during the restoration, a lot about the car is the same as the day it rolled off the assembly line. The color is original, although a show quality paint job was performed on the perfectly rust free body. The Gulf Stream Aqua is a color that gets lots of compliments. The interior is all new and done in Aqua as well. And the Parchment vinyl roof was retained for originality. A highly optioned Mustang from the factory, with A/C, which has been converted and rebuilt to use R134. Power disc brakes, power steering, tilt-away steering wheel and center console were some of the options. Every single piece of the car has either been refurbished or replaced. All of the glass besides the windshield is original. Every panel is original. The brakes were redone, the suspension is new, the radiator, hoses, thermostat and water pump were all done in the restoration. The exhaust from the manifold to the tips was all replaced.
