1989 Chevrolet 1500 "C7 Custom"

This custom truck underwent a frame-on transformation. Underneath the truck was cleaned up, undercoated and painted but retains all the original style suspension of the 1500. Which in all honesty, is a very beefy suspension set up but rides extremely nice. The front disc brakes were upgraded, which keep reading and you'll understand why! A Corvette LS3 (LS376/480) was chosen as the new powerplant for this blue and silver beauty. A 6 speed automatic, 6L80 was installed at the same time and makes this truck amazing to drive on the street or the highway. The interior was completely re-designed to match that of a C7 Corvette. The blue seats and dash wrap around the driver nicely and you can tell it was done with extremely high quality materials. The Corvette center console and steering wheel are a nice touch. A Pioneer head unit with navigation was installed, along with a Rockford Fosgate, high end stereo system. Continuing the Corvette theme on the exterior, the handles were shaved and now feature the electric hidden buttons, just like the C7. The exterior was stripped down and re-coated in a gorgeous Silver and Blue with custom red and yellow stripes to separate the colors. The hood features the cut out and vented center piece, again, from the C7. The wood in the bed was all new and stained to a high shine. The rear end has a back roll pan from a Camaro and the newer generation Corvette lighting installed to replicate that of the C7. Center exhaust with 4 tips rumble out of rear of this custom Chevy. Budnik G Series wheels with 255/40/18's up front and 275/40/20's on the rear finish off the customization of this truck. You can imagine what this cost to do.
