2010 Ultima GTR

This 2010 Ultima GTR is as close to riding in a space ship as you can get. This ridiculous street legal rocket is just a beast. The chassis is a full spaceframe using mainly 38mm x 1.5mm dia tube and is all MIG welded and powder coated and paneled in 1.5mm NS4 Alloy sheet, it's designed to accept engines up to 2000 horsepower.

The wing is a double element track designed in carbon fiber. The body has an unpainted GRP finished in immaculate White gel coat. The interior is done in Ultima leather/alcontara for the seats and dashboard. This beautiful monster uses Ultima branded instruments to let you know how high you're flying. It has creature comforts such as air conditioning, power mirrors, a back up camera, and a killer sound system you can actually hear over the roar of the engine. Some of the other unique features are the Ultima triple headlight system and a full laminated glass windscreen. The suspension is TIG welded double unequal length heavy duty wishbones with rod ends and spherical joints and alloy uprights cast in LM25 and heat treated to TF. Fully adjustable coil spring damper units let you adjust the ride. Stopping the meteor are 12.7" curved vane vented disc brakes all round with four pot calipers and mechanical handbrake. All stainless steel lines and braided hoses throughout the entire car.

The engine is a Dart Chevrolet aluminum 350 V8 bored out to 424 cubic inches, topping the dyno at 650 horsepower. The gearbox is a Porsche G50 5 speed with matching transaxle. The wheels are 9" x 18" front, 13.5"x 18" rear alloy three piece with 5 stud centers machined from billet alloy, mating with sticky 245/35ZR18 front and 335/30/ZR18 rear tires.
